Halcyon Ridge

Halcyon Ridge is a year-’round rental property owned by Lynn and Chuck Hadyniak, who live near the Halcyon Ridge property. Lynn and Chuck moved out of New Jersey years ago to get away from the hustle and bustle and raise a family in peace. They love Freedom for its quietness and natural beauty, and would love to host people at Halcyon Ridge who also want to escape the noise.

Amenities at Halcyon Ridge include:

• 3 bedrooms to sleep up to five adults comfortably.
• Bedroom #1-queen bed
• Bedroom #2-double bed
• Bedroom #3-twin bed, with no step or stairs to access it–first floor, great for those with mobility impairments. 
• New kitchen appliances including: four-burner gas stove/oven, full-sized upright refrigerator /freezer, microwave oven, Ninja 7-in-1 toaster oven, broiler, etc;  crock pot, blender, and all utensils, cooking  tools, drinking glasses, and coffee mugs.
• Newly installed propane- powered generator! It will power the whole house, and without any effort on your part. If the power goes out, wait just a few seconds and power will come back on!
• Towels, blankets, sheets, pillows, dishtowels, everything you need.
• Wifi.
• An office, complete with new sit/stand desk, task lighting, and a new ergonomic and comfortable chair.
• Just hanging out at Halcyon Ridge means you can laze around in the hammock, settle in to the Reader’s Nook, get competitive with the 8-in-1 game table, enjoy the view while playing a round of croquet, relax and star gaze by the fire pit, and grill up your favorite meal.
• A delightful, whimsical, Reader’s Nook–complete with papasan chair, comfy throw, reading light, mood lighting,  3 shelves of books!  Curl up and get lost in a selection of  fiction, poetry, autobiographies, and science fiction. 
• Air conditioning and supplemental heat courtesy of brand-new heat pumps in bedroom #1 and the living area of the 1st floor, and a rolling floor a/c unit in bedroom#2.
• New propane fire pit with 5 new Adirondack chairs.
• New gas grill with barbecue utensils.
• Back deck with new table, chairs, and umbrella.
• New washer and dryer–we even have a selection of detergent for you.
• Cooking pots, pans, measuring cups, kitchen knives, bowls, glass storage containers for leftovers.
• All stoneware dishes.
• Keurig coffee maker and standard coffee pot appliances.
• Baking sheets, hand mixer, cooling rack, rolling pin, cake pans.
• Free on-site parking for two vehicles.
• Private backyard.
• Heated floors throughout.

We ask guests don’t smoke and don’t create unusually loud noises to help preserve the serenity.
